Despite some early morning showers and wet roads, July 4th turned out to be a great day of racing for the Doghouse Racing Team. Mark Chandler had a very close 2nd place overall finish with a time of 48:09:54. Jeanine Seeger took 3rd female overall in a time of 54:25:88. She also had the fastest bike split amongst the women, averaging 24.24 mph! Lauren Chandler placed 7th elite female and boasts a much improved bike split over last year’s July 4th race. Tina Lacertosa raced well on her new Qunitana Roo Dulce, built and fit just in time for the race by Coach Rick. She had the top bike split in her age group, as well as a 1st place finish. Doghouse was also represented in the duathlon by Nancy Gribble, who won her age group with a time of 57:15:29. Congratulations to all other Doghouse athletes and Boca Raton Triathletes who raced!!!
